    If I had to use one word to describe my life to date it would be change. I have lived all over Canada, travelled through North America and Asia, and embraced new people, places and challenges at every turn. The constant change has moulded me into an open, outgoing, positive person and I could not be happier with all of the experiences I have had that got me to this point in my life. 

    In my spare time I enjoy running, biking and yoga, I have two dogs that keep me very active and a large family that I love to spend time with. I currently call Toronto home, but change is always welcome! 

    Over the past fifteen months I have had the amazing opportunity to come to work every day at a place called Shopify, it's been emotional and life changing job but I would not have it any other way.  My Shopify journey started out like many others as a remote guru, while the amazing benefits and fun team were definitely positives to the job it was the culture that kept me wanting more.  

    There’s no other position in Shopify that allows you to learn as much information on the platform and our merchants than being a Guru. Even though the position is focused on knowledge of the platform, you quickly come to understand how immensely important our merchants are to Shopify.  Support is our highest rated service but being a guru is still a position that’s often underestimated. This is something I’m really excited to tackle if I were to earn this role.
